2 bands we've been lucky enough to hang and gig with called it quits last year.

VICTIM OF PAIN were tearing it up since thrash started. Andy has since moved on and joined up with another band we are friends with and have a lot of respect for: MAGUS BEAST.

Our buddies in REIGN OF PESTILENCE went out of their way to bring us to Worcester, MA last year, and it turned out to be their final performance.

All the best to you guys, it was our pleasure to share the stage with all of you.

So what's up with us? We've been wasting too much time and money on getting "Deadfoot Studios" up and running. In a couple of weeks we'll FINALLY be able to test live tracking for guitar, bass and drums. Looking forward to it. Once we start tracking for our new CD we'll post an update. Probably no gigs for awhile.

TRAXX IS AN ODD VENUE - 9/27/2009
The Traxx gig was a strange one. AT THE LAST MINUTE the owner of the venue decided to move "A TRIBUTE TO THRASH METAL" earlier so he could bring in a hip/hop event at 10:30PM. WTF?! Regardless, the 3 bands left, STRICKEN, SHOW NO MERCY and COMBAT put on a great show. Andrew of Power Of Music Productions promises to give this event the full night it deserves in the near future.

NJ HEAVY METAL MASSACRE 4 AFTERMATH - 8/11/2009
Pretty interesting night... Friggin guitar gear gremlins came to haunt us about 3 or 4 songs into the set. Bummer. Anthony's guest appearance on Corrupt Destruct was a kind of life saver as Jeff's guitar was dead for the last half of the song. But before that, we were told the guys in DEVASTATOR were drummerless and looking for anyone to sit in. The drummer in RATTLEHEAD seemed like an obvious choice since they were touring together and had 30 shows to go. But they said it wasn't going to happen and I wasn't going to push them for why. Whether you think they are crazier for taking on a new drummer with 2 hours till showtime, or me for agreeing to it, take your pick. Meeting the dudes, as they piled out of their van in pure Jeff Spicoli style (dude I'm so wasted!) Tyler the guitarist immediately reminded me of a young Ted Nugent gone terribly thrash, while Pat the bass player reminded me of Mike Leonard from FRIGID BICH and DAMAGED. After 2 hours of listening to their CD's and jamming "acoustically", it was time for the meeting of the EAST/OLD and WEST/YOUNG thrashers to put up. Ending with DRINK (SEEK) AND DESTROY it wasn't the tightest or longest set by far, but hell man it was TOTAL FUCKIN KAOS!!!

It's always fun when the cops show up to harass the local DIY hotspot. We don't know if it was our volume, those gallon jugs of "home brew" or what, but the cops started laying down the law about middle of our set. We got 4 more songs in then packed it up, but unfortunately they came back and closed it all down before FATAL could even finish setting up. Bummer. Sorry dudes, next time we'll take the hit... Hey Monarch, can you get us some "professional courtesy" next time? Glad to see some familiar faces down there, we'll be back again!
