I bought these brand new in the late 80's, then they sat for a long time until I started playing again. I switched to a set of Axis pedals, so these really haven't seen that much use in all the years I had them.
I set these up to play together or separately. Just have to take the bar on or off with smaller allen key, and switch the beater over. And the left pedal has a heavy platform that you attach to just like attaching to a bass drum.
Included are 2 allen keys; the larger one is to adjust the beater separation. The beaters can be adjusted with a regular square drum key.
