Freedom Day

As the sun has risen on yet another day

I began to realize I’ve wasted my life away

Many broken promises begin to destroy my dreams

That’s the day I break free, the day they hear me scream

I’m tired of sitting down; I will no longer wait

I’m sick of all the lies; I’m crashing down the gates

When you see me coming, get out of my way

This will be known as my Freedom Day

Waiting is for losers and success I want to taste

There’s something better out there, of really that I’m sure

I’m sick of the same old lies of the good life I want more

Time to get started; with destiny I’ve got a date
