This is a tobacco sunburst CROWN guitar made in Japan. Obviously a Teisco based guitar, and I just recently saw almost the same guitar on eBay with the same headstock. I found 2 body matches on the teisco twangers site; the MJ-2L and E-100.

This one is in decent shape. The neck is "okay" and the action is set a bit high because of some fret buzz. There is something strange about the pickup though. The lower 3 strings (starting with low E) don't seem to register as loud as the higher 3. My brother pulled the pickup and found nothing obvious that could be wrong. Otherwise, everything is in working order as expected.
